He completed his doctorate Enviromental horticulture at Chiba University's Graduate School of Horticulture. At graduate school, he worked to establish high-yield soybean cultivation techniques in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China. At Leave a Nest, he was in charge of various research projects in the agriculture, forestry and fisheries fields, utilizing his own research experience. In 2019, he became the CEO of Agrinome Lab. Inc, a subsidiary of Leave a Nest. He identifies various issues facing the agricultural sector and promotes the demonstration and social implementation of technologies to resolve them.

In 2012, he obtained his Ph.D. (Agriculture) from Hiroshima University. After serving as a fellow at Baylor College of Medicine and a JSPS (DC1, PD) fellow, he co-founded IntegriCulture. He became a director and CTO in April 2018. He has received multiple academic awards, including the Academic Encouragement Award from the Japanese Society of Reproductive Endocrinology.

Joined East Japan Railway Company in 2001. After working in the operation, marketing and renovation of commercial facilities, he studied in the United States and earned an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
After returning to Japan, he has been in charge of station area development in the Tokyo metropolitan area since 2010.
Since 2010, he has been involved in the urban development of TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY, which is scheduled to open on March 27, 2025, and has been comprehensively promoting urban development plans, including concept planning for Takanawa Gateway Station, the development and attraction of facilities such as convention centers, hotels, and international schools, the creation of an urban OS and apps that will serve as the city's data infrastructure, the implementation of robot Mobility vehicles and Robotics, startup support, and area management activities.
