Toshihiko Matsuo

Joined East Japan Railway Company in 2003. Responsible for the operation and development of shopping centers at the Atre station building, urban development planning for stations such as Takasaki and Niigata, and new business planning. Obtained an MBA in 2014. Since 2016, has been in charge of the Shinagawa development project, primarily engaged in co-creation with partner companies in the planning of TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY. Motto: Think rationally, be considerate of emotions, believe in possibilities, and work together to execute.

Yasuhiro Hoshina

Joined the company in 1998, he has been involved in a wide range of service and system planning and development for corporate and individual customers, including the launch of KDDI's cloud platform service and the planning and development of au messaging services (carrier mail, +Message). Since 2020, he has been in charge of the development of the Takanawa smart city, and in his current position, he is in charge of promoting WAKONX Vertical Layer (industry-specific solutions), including smart cities.

Takanobu Takihara

Joined Ito En in 1988. At the Central Research Institute, he was involved in hydroponic tea cultivation, substance production using cultured cells, and functional material development. After serving as research laboratory head and development department manager, he became deputy director in 2018, promoting functional research, particularly functional research on matcha and the development of functional foods. In 2023, he became director of the Central Research Institute, and in 2025, he became full-time director of the TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY Lab.

After graduating from university in 2008, he joined Honda R&D Co., Ltd. After working on motor control for electric and hybrid vehicles and the development of autonomous driving systems, he founded Ashirase in April 2021 and assumed the position of Representative Director and CEO.

MiaLuce Co., Ltd., drawing on the firsthand experiences of its representative and family battling cancer, provides the "CureMind" support service for those fighting cancer, valuing the perspectives of both patients and healthcare professionals. Through daily recording of physical and mental health, provision of accurate information, peer support, and expert consultations, the service helps improve quality of life. In the future, it aims to create a platform that seamlessly connects prevention to post-illness care, contributing to a society where people can confidently address their health.

Natsuki Honma

After graduating from high school, he gained experience at Sagawa Express, from on-site operations to management. He then founded and managed his own logistics company. Inspired by Essen's mission of "creating the future through action," he joined the company after selling it. Currently, he is dedicated to expanding the advertising business and creating new businesses that generate social value.

Yuma Saito

Since 2010, he has been involved in the launch of Tohmatsu Venture Support Co., Ltd. (now Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Support Co., Ltd.). In 2019, he became President and CEO of Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Support. He is involved in supporting new business creation for large corporations around the world and formulating venture policies. He is the founder of Morning Pitch, an early morning event where entrepreneurs present to 100 people from large corporations. His main book is "How to Find a Job You Can Dedicate Your Life To" (Diamond, Inc.). He has been featured in numerous media outlets, including newspapers, magazines, television, and online media. He was selected as one of "Nikkei Business's 100 People Shaping the Next Generation in 2017." He has previously served as a member of the Cabinet Office Open Innovation Award Committee, a J-Startup Selection Committee member, and a director of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives.
