Mighty-D4 is a Japanese-made robot for transport, inspection, and patrol that can move freely both indoors and outdoors using a unique mechanism that combines wheels and four-legged walking, derived from mobility systems used in lunar exploration robots. It can autonomously transport heavy loads in place of human workers, and it can also tow carts while following a person using its follow-me function. It can also be remotely operated from a distance when necessary. Thanks to its high mobility, it can travel over steps of more than 10 cm, uneven surfaces, and shallow flooded areas such as puddles, allowing it to operate without being affected by road conditions.

Visitors can watch Mighty travel smoothly over uneven surfaces, slopes, and everyday obstacles. Experience a near-future world of autonomous transport that is not limited to indoor facilities.

Aquamu’s AQ Series produces water from the air using electricity. It collects moisture from the air, purifies it through three filters, and adds minerals with natural Japanese stones. Because it makes water where it is needed, it helps reduce the cost, effort, and CO2 emissions associated with transporting and storing bottled water. It is an eco-friendly water server that creates water instead of requiring you to buy it.

Visitors can taste the water produced by the machine. They can also watch the machine make water from the air.

<Usage Requirements> Under conditions of 27°C and 60% humidity, the AQ-20 can produce up to 20 liters of water per day. The production cost is about ¥17 per liter. It requires at least 15°C and 35% humidity. Below this level, the machine stops automatically. A standard household power outlet is also required.

The marking spot “DOG-PEE SPOT” encourages communication among dogs while absorbing urine and converting it into fertilizer, aiming to return benefits to people’s daily lives. By creating urban resource circulation, the project fosters relationships between dogs and humans that transcend species.

This exhibition features a prototype of “DOG-PEE SPOT,” developed using cellulose sponge material with high absorbency, quick-drying properties, and biodegradability. It offers a new perspective by reimagining dog marking behavior as an urban resource through an interactive experience. “Augmented Ecosystems” are ecosystems created through proactive human intervention that possess greater biodiversity and functionality than natural ecosystems. To establish augmented ecosystems, a wide variety of plants—a much higher variety than occurs in natural conditions—are strategically planted and harvested in a mixed, dense manner. This promotes interactions among plants and helps develop a rich ecosystem. This exhibition displays small, augmented ecosystems in planters. Despite their small size, these planters, filled with a diverse array of plants, contribute to urban biodiversity by offering habitats and food for a variety of living organisms, such as microorganisms and insects.

Through these planters created utilizing the actual construction process of augmented ecosystems-namely, the strategic mixing and dense planting of plants-you can gain an intuitive understanding of augmented ecosystems. We hope it helps you envision how augmented ecosystems contribute to a nature-positive future.
